Crown lifting

Paul day tree specialist

Giving safe passage to foot and vehicle traffic

Is it difficult to allow safe passage for people or vehicles underneath your tree? Crown lifting raises the level at which the crown starts, removing branches and limbs which can prevent access along a path and obscure the view. In addition to this, crown lifting helps provide more light when a tree is near to your property.
All crown lifting work is covered by public liability insurance and wood waste recycled where possible. Paul Day Tree Specialists employ NPTC qualified surgeons for forestry and arboriculture.

How the crown is lifted

The crown is usually lifted by an exact measurement all the way around the tree e.g. 3m above ground level. Surgeons will climb the tree or use a cherry picker to then cut off the bottom branches and limbs whilst removing any deadwood following best practice.
